Overview
Arthritis sufferers and people with sore backs get a large pad that produces moist heat without any water added. An embedded thermostat holds the pad at the highest temperatures UL considers safe, and a switch sets the heat level.
Heat intensity is the reason to choose it: an embedded thermostat lets it hold the highest temperature UL allows. The short timer cuts each session off, and the cover material and wash method are not described.
Who it's for
Stiff backs, shoulders and arthritic joints that respond to deep moist heat are the target here. People who prefer gentle warmth or long unattended sessions should look at other options.
Pros and cons
- Large pad covers back or shoulders
- Moist heat without adding water
- Embedded thermostat drives high heat
- Three heat settings on one switch
- Timer ends sessions early
- Cover and fabric material not listed
- High heat ceiling needs careful use on skin
Performance notes
Output is governed by the embedded thermostat, which lets the element climb to the UL safe ceiling instead of cycling down early. The moist heat comes from the pad itself, so no wetting or prep changes the result, and the timer sets how long each dose lasts.
