Overview
A single silver fishing spoon from Johnson, 2.75 inches and 3/4 ounce, built with a spear-point hook shape and marketed as an all-species bait.
The spear-point design on this spoon curves the hook up and along the body, a layout commonly used to help the lure slip through weeds and grass without snagging. It ships as one spoon rather than a multi-pack.
- 2.75 inch, 3/4 ounce spoon
- Silver finish
- Spear-point weedless hook
- Marketed for all species
Who it's for
Anglers casting or trolling spoons through weedy or grassy water who want a weed-resistant silver spoon for a range of species.
Pros and cons
- Weed-resistant spear-point hook design
- Silver finish for flash and visibility
- Listed for use with a range of species
- Sold as a single spoon, not a pack
- One weight and color only
Performance notes
A spoon's wobble comes from its curved, concave metal body catching water asymmetrically on the retrieve, throwing flash that can draw strikes from a range of predatory fish. The spear-point hook rides along the spoon's body, which helps it deflect off weeds instead of catching them.
