Overview
A metal casting spoon in the classic Dardevle profile, sized medium to large and finished in red and white for visibility in stained water. Built for casting or trolling for bass, northern pike and walleye.
The wobbling spoon design turns simple retrieve speed into flash and vibration, a mechanism that predates most modern lure designs but still works. Red and white remains one of the higher-contrast finishes for murky or low-light water, though it can read less naturally in ultra-clear conditions. Sold as a single spoon, not a multi-pack.
- Metal spoon construction
- Medium to large size
- Red/white high-visibility finish
- Targets bass, pike and walleye
Who it's for
Suits anglers targeting mid-size to trophy bass, pike or walleye who want a durable metal lure for casting or trolling. Not the pick for finesse presentations or panfish, where the size and weight are overkill.
Pros and cons
- Durable metal construction built to withstand toothy fish
- High-contrast red/white finish for stained water
- Sized for casting or trolling
- Works across bass, pike and walleye
- Single spoon per order, not a multi-pack
- Size may be too large for panfish or finesse fishing
Performance notes
The spoon's action comes from its concave metal body, which wobbles and flashes as it's retrieved or trolled, mimicking an injured baitfish. Its weight lets it cast farther than lighter lures and sink quickly to reach fish holding deeper in the water column.
