Not a batch feed unit, this Waste King model grinds continuously while the switch is on. A high speed permanent magnet motor drives stainless grinding components inside a corrosion proof polymer chamber. The EZ Mount collar and the attached cord are meant to let a homeowner install it without new wiring.

Motor speed and horsepower are why it suits a kitchen that cooks daily, as the higher spin shreds waste finer before it reaches the drain. Weight is low, which helps when lifting it onto the mount overhead, but the body is polymer and the listed color is unfinished, so it is a working part under the sink, not a showpiece.
