Overview
A host stocking a home bar gets a pitcher and four old fashioned glasses here, cut in Godinger's Dublin diamond pattern. The set is heavy, clear and glossy, and the specs list it for everyday and home use.
A matched set saves hunting for glasses that go with the pitcher, and the cut pattern gives it a classic look on a bar cart. The description is minimal. Glass capacity is not stated, and the material fields disagree on lead.
Who it's for
Hosts who serve spirits, mixers or water at home and want a coordinated, heavy cut-glass set. Buyers who need a firm statement on lead content, or a larger set of glasses, should check with the seller.
Pros and cons
- Pitcher and four glasses in one set
- Diamond-cut Dublin pattern
- Heavy, brilliant finish
- Dishwasher safe per the specs
- Lead content stated two ways
- Glass capacity not listed
- Only four glasses
Performance notes
The cut facets break up light so the pitcher and glasses sparkle on a bar or table. Heavy crystal feels stable in the hand. The listing does not give glass capacity, so serving sizes depend on the old fashioned format.
