Overview
Bormioli Rocco makes the Frigoverre Classic as a square frosted glass jug with an ergonomic handle and an easy-pour spout. An adjustable stopper controls how the drink comes out, under an airtight plastic lid.
A compact shape fits a refrigerator door, and the lid is aimed at juice, iced tea, lemonade and infused water. The body resists chips and goes in the dishwasher. Lid heat limits are the open question.
Who it's for
Families who keep a chilled drink ready in the fridge and want a glass jug with a tight lid. Hosts who serve large groups, or who want a lid rated beyond fridge use, should look at a bigger or different pitcher.
Pros and cons
- Airtight lid for storage
- Chip-resistant glass body
- Easy-pour spout and handle
- Lid is plastic
- Lid heat limits not listed
- Moderate capacity for gatherings
Performance notes
The airtight lid blocks leaks, and the adjustable stopper meters the pour. Handle and spout shape give a controlled stream into a glass. The glass body is listed as microwave safe.
