Overview
Filed under Klein's Cutters line, the 1104 pairs a plastic handle with a listed weight of 0.26 kilograms, about 9 ounces. Beyond handle material and weight, the listing does not publish a cutting capacity or gauge rating.
Klein's Cutters category and the plastic handle spec are the only concrete clues to what this tool is built for, since no jaw length, gauge rating or wire capacity is published. That gap matters more for a cutter than for most hand tools, since cutting capacity is usually the deciding factor.

Who it's for
Tradespeople who want a lightweight, plastic-handled cutter as an addition to an existing Klein-branded kit. Not a fit for anyone who needs a documented cutting capacity or wire gauge rating confirmed first, since neither is listed.
Pros and cons
- Lightweight at 0.26 kilograms
- Plastic handle keeps weight down
- No cutting capacity or gauge rating listed
- No jaw length given
- Handle material is plastic, not forged steel
Performance notes
A plastic handle keeps the 1104's overall weight down to 0.26 kilograms, light enough for one-handed use through a full shift, though it also means less mass behind each cut than an all-metal design would provide.
