Overview
Not a fixed-frame goal, the PUGG pop-up springs open and twists closed into a flat oval that slides into its carrying case. The frame is alloy steel with a plastic component, and the maker sells it as portable.
Easy transport is the selling point, with a light carry weight and a compact fold, and the frame carries a lifetime warranty. Nothing is said about how it is anchored or how well it holds up to hard shots.
Who it's for
Casual players, youth teams and travelers who set up goals on varied fields. Serious clubs that train with powerful shots may want a fixed frame.
Pros and cons
- Folds flat for carrying
- Light enough to carry on a shoulder
- Alloy steel frame
- Lifetime warranty on the frame
- Anchoring not described
- Net details not listed
- Listed size looks like the folded shape
Performance notes
The frame holds its tension when sprung open, and twisting it closed folds it flat for the carry case. Stability on the field depends on how it is staked or weighted, which the listing does not cover.
