Overview
Franklin Sports makes this Blackhawk goal as a pop-up frame wrapped in netting. Releasing the fold lets the frame spring open into a goal shape, and twisting it down packs it flat for carrying.
Quick setup and very light weight make it easy to move between a garage, a yard and a park. The limitation is scale: the listing gives a compact goal size, so older players and keeper drills will outgrow it. Stakes or anchors are not mentioned.
Who it's for
Parents with young players will find the compact size and low weight easy to manage. A youth team coach setting up a proper match field will need something larger and more anchored.
Pros and cons
- Folds flat for carrying and storage
- Very light frame
- Works indoors and outdoors
- Bright optic yellow frame is easy to spot
- Small goal size limits older players
- Anchoring method not listed
- Short manufacturer warranty
- Net replacement parts not listed
Performance notes
Flexible fiberglass poles store energy when twisted, which is what pops the frame open. A light frame moves under a hard shot, so it behaves best on grass or with extra weight added. Wind can also shift it outdoors.
