Overview
Sufix built the 661-108Y as a 330 yard spool of monofilament rated to 8 pounds, finished in a hi vis yellow that stays visible above the waterline while all but disappearing once wet below it.
Hi vis mono is a line-watching tool as much as a strength rating: the yellow tint lets you track subtle bites and line movement on the surface, a trait mono holds well over long casts. At 8 pound test and 330 yards it fits light spinning setups rather than heavier bait casting rigs.

- Monofilament construction
Who it's for
Light tackle anglers who want to watch their line for strikes, particularly for finesse or panfish presentations where bite detection is by sight as much as feel. Not the choice for anyone who wants a fully invisible leader material.
Pros and cons
- Hi vis yellow makes bites easier to spot
- 330 yards is enough to respool most light reels
- Light 8 pound test suits finesse presentations
- 8 pound test limits it to light tackle
- Yellow color is visible underwater to wary fish
Performance notes
At 8 pound test, this line suits light spinning reels rather than heavier baitcasting applications, and the 330 yard spool gives enough length to respool most light reels with some left over.
