Overview
Sufix's 661-112 is 12 lb test monofilament line spooled to 330 yards, listed in nylon construction with a clear color for general-purpose rigging.
The listing's technique field says braided, which conflicts with the nylon monofilament material and the Mono Lines category. Given the product name and material spec both point to mono, treat monofilament as the more reliable read.
- 12 lb test
- 330 yard length
- Nylon monofilament
- Clear color
Who it's for
Anglers who want a mid-strength 12 lb clear mono for general spinning or casting setups.
Pros and cons
- 330 yard spool covers multiple respools
- 12 lb test suits general-purpose spinning and casting
- Clear color for low visibility
- Listing's technique field says braided, conflicting with the monofilament material, so confirm before buying
- No line diameter stated
Performance notes
At 12 lb test, this sits in a versatile middle ground, light enough for finesse work but strong enough for moderate-size fish. Nylon mono like this stretches more than braid or fluorocarbon, which can absorb hookset shock on a hard-fighting fish.
