Overview
A backyard corner or playroom becomes a storybook cottage with this playhouse, which pairs a kitchenette and fold-down table with a working doorbell and play phone. Kids enter through a rounded door, cook on a stovetop with clickable knobs and wash up at a molded-in sink.
Role play drives the design: a sink, fireplace, cuckoo clock with working hands and storage shelves give kids a whole home to act out. The double-walled plastic wipes clean with household cleaners. Expect a large footprint and adult assembly before anyone plays.
Who it's for
Young children who love playing house get a cottage with a kitchen, phone and doorbell built in, set up inside or out. Households short on floor space, or kids who want climbing and sliding, will be better served by a different playset.
Pros and cons
- Working doorbell and electronic play phone
- Kitchenette with fold-down table
- Storage shelves for toys
- Wipes clean with disinfectant wipes
- Batteries for electronics sold separately
- Adult assembly required
- Large footprint needs dedicated space
- Listing shows two conflicting dimension sets
Performance notes
Play value comes from the number of interactive spots: clickable stove knobs, a folding table, a doorbell and a phone each prompt a different scene. The double-walled panels give the walls rigidity. Molded-in color is described as not chipping or peeling with use.
