Overview
A snowy playground or a backyard slope is where this blue roll-up sled mat gets laid down and ridden. Flexible Flyer makes it from plastic that rolls tight for storage and a walk to the hill.
Easy carrying and storing set the Flying Carpet apart from a hard sled, and it suits younger riders. The listing says to see the seller for warranty details and gives no maximum weight.
Who it's for
Young children sliding on gentle slopes who like a simple mat. Older kids or adults wanting speed and structure should choose a firmer sled.
Pros and cons
- Rolls up for storage
- Light to carry
- Simple one-rider mat
- Plastic is easy to wipe
- No maximum weight listed
- No handles listed
- Warranty terms unclear
Performance notes
A flat plastic mat slides on snow with little friction, and its low profile gives a close-to-the-ground ride. Because it has no frame, it follows the surface of the snow, so a smooth slope works best.
