Overview
A metal nonstick grilling basket from Cuisinart, model CNTB-422, sized about 25.8 by 2.2 by 12.3 inches for a low, flat profile.
The color field on this listing actually carries the product name, Simply Grilling Nonstick Grilling Basket, which along with the flat 2.2 inch height points to a grill-top basket or tray rather than a full outdoor cooker as the title suggests. Use it as an accessory that sits on an existing grill grate.
- Model CNTB-422
- Nonstick metal basket
- 25.8 x 2.2 x 12.3 in
Who it's for
Grill owners who want to cook smaller cut vegetables, shrimp, or other pieces that would fall through standard grates. Not for anyone shopping for a standalone outdoor cooking appliance.
Pros and cons
- Nonstick surface for easy release
- Low profile keeps food close to heat
- Listing title misidentifies it as an outdoor cooker
- Not a standalone cooking appliance
Performance notes
A nonstick metal surface keeps small or delicate pieces from sticking and stops them from falling through the grate, while the shallow 2.2 inch depth keeps food close to direct heat.
