Overview
A chrome-plated alloy steel shell forms this small Latin Percussion snare, described as mountable. The sound is described as a high-powered crack. Nothing is listed as included with it.
The reason to buy is a compact accent snare that fits where a full snare cannot, with a bright cracking voice. The limit is that no mount, clamp or hardware is listed, and the item type field is generic.
Who it's for
Drummers and percussionists adding a high accent sound to a kit will find the micro size useful. Players needing a primary snare or a complete mounting package should look at a full drum.
Pros and cons
- Compact accent snare
- Chrome over steel
- Mounting hardware not listed
- Included items not listed
- Item type field is generic
- Warranty is a web link only
Performance notes
The small steel shell produces a short, cracking sound, which the listing calls high-powered. It is meant to be mounted rather than placed on a stand like a standard snare. Mounting details are not described.
