Overview
Not a powered or Bluetooth speaker, this is a passive bookshelf pair that wires to a home theater receiver or stereo amplifier. The compact wood cabinet can sit on a shelf or hang from the keyhole slot.
The reason to buy is an easy way to add front, rear or surround channels with a familiar wired setup. The limit is that the listing names a Bluetooth field and a built-in microphone that do not match a passive design.
Who it's for
A home theater with a receiver and a few spare channels, or a desk with a stereo amplifier, is the natural match. A shopper looking for a self-powered pair for streaming should not rely on the wireless listing.
Pros and cons
- Works as front, rear or surround
- Dolby and DTS support
- Needs an external amplifier
- Bluetooth field conflicts
- Sensitivity not listed
- Maximum range field is unclear
Performance notes
A woofer and tweeter inside a compact cabinet cover mid and high ranges, and bass is limited by cabinet size. A receiver or stereo amp supplies the power. Placement near a wall or shelf changes how much bass reaches the listener.
