Overview
A lightweight 3/32-ounce hard plastic plug lure from Strike, model HCBPM-513, in a Fire Tiger color pattern for anglers building out their lure box.
At 3/32 ounce, this is a light plug best suited to finesse presentations rather than long-distance casting, since its weight limits how far it will fly on its own. Fire Tiger is a widely used pattern that mimics baitfish coloring in stained or off-colored water. The listing includes a target species field that does not clearly match a plug of this size, so that detail is left out here.
- 3/32 oz plastic plug
- Fire Tiger color pattern
- Plastic construction
Who it's for
Suited to anglers who want a light plastic plug in the Fire Tiger pattern for finesse presentations. Not a fit for anyone needing a heavier lure built for long casts or fishing in wind.
Pros and cons
- Fire Tiger pattern mimics baitfish in stained water
- Light 3/32-ounce weight suits finesse presentations
- 4.5 rating on Amazon
- Light weight limits casting distance
- Sold as a single piece
Performance notes
The 3/32-ounce weight keeps the plug light in the water, which suits a slower, more subtle presentation but also limits how far it can be cast compared with heavier plugs.
