Overview
Sunline 63031772 is a bulk spool of clear fluorocarbon fishing line at 10 lb test, running 200 yards (600 feet). It suits anglers who want a low-visibility line to spool a reel or refill line already on a rod.
Fluorocarbon lines are denser than monofilament, so they sink rather than float, which helps keep lures and baits down in the strike zone. This spool is sold at a single 10 lb line class with no other weights or color options bundled.
- 10 lb test, clear fluorocarbon
- 200 yards / 600 feet per spool
- Sinking line for subsurface presentations
- Single-color, single-weight spool
Who it's for
Suits anglers who fish clear or pressured water and want reduced line visibility, plus anyone who needs a straightforward 10 lb refill spool. Not the pick for anglers who want a lighter or heavier test on one spool.
Pros and cons
- Clear, low-visibility fluorocarbon
- Sinks for bottom-hugging presentations
- 200 yard spool covers multiple respools
- Only one line weight (10 lb) offered
- No knot strength or diameter figures listed
- No included leader or backing
Performance notes
Fluorocarbon's refractive index is close to water, which is why it is marketed as harder for fish to see underwater than mono line of the same diameter. It also sinks, aiding presentations that need to stay near bottom rather than float on the surface.
