Overview
Brita makes this faucet filter to clip onto a standard kitchen or bathroom tap without tools, sending water through a carbon cartridge that cuts chlorine taste and odor.
Renters and households get better-tasting tap water without plumbing work or a pitcher to refill. The listing claims only chlorine taste and odor reduction, with no certifications named, and it fits most but not all standard faucets.
Who it's for
Kitchens with a standard faucet and chlorine taste in the water suit this filter. Pull-down or unusual faucets may not fit.
Pros and cons
- No tools to install
- Works in kitchen or bathroom
- No electricity needed
- Simple filter swaps
- Chlorine reduction only claimed
- No certifications listed
- Not for every faucet style
Performance notes
Taste improves as water passes through the carbon cartridge, which reduces chlorine. Filtering stops once the cartridge capacity is used, so filters need regular replacement.
