Overview
With a 3-inch driver and RCA connectivity, the Acoustic Audio by Goldwood PSC-32 is a bookshelf and center-channel speaker designed to sit on a shelf in black finish.
Its wide, shallow footprint, 21 inches across and just under 5 inches tall, is the shape typical of a center-channel speaker meant to sit under or above a TV, while the bookshelf label covers stereo pair use as well. RCA is the only connection type listed, so it pairs with a receiver or amp rather than plugging directly into a TV.
- 3-inch driver
- RCA connectivity
- Shelf mount, black finish
- 4.92 x 21 x 10.03 in, 3.75 lb
Who it's for
Suits anyone building out a home theater setup who needs a center or shelf speaker to pair with an existing receiver. Not for buyers wanting a standalone Bluetooth speaker, since RCA input requires an amplifier or receiver in the chain.
Pros and cons
- Wide, shallow shape suits center-channel placement
- Shelf mount design
- Doubles as a bookshelf speaker
- Small 3-inch driver limits bass response
- RCA only, needs a receiver or amp
Performance notes
A 3-inch driver is on the small side for bass, so this speaker leans toward midrange and dialogue duty as a center channel rather than carrying low end on its own. RCA connectivity means output quality depends on the receiver or amp driving it rather than any built-in amplification.
