Overview
Parents in apartments and shared bedrooms get a mini crib that fits where a full-size crib will not, built from New Zealand pine. The mattress platform lowers in three steps as the baby learns to sit and stand.
Saving floor space is the point, and it still converts to a daybed and then a twin bed later.
Who it's for
City families and siblings sharing a room get a compact, certified crib that grows into a twin bed. Parents with a roomy nursery may prefer the longer use of a full-size crib.
Pros and cons
- Compact footprint for small rooms
- Three mattress heights
- Converts through to a twin bed
- Free of phthalates, lead and BPA
- Conversion kits sold separately
- Mattress inclusion conflicts in listing
- Outgrown sooner than a full crib
Performance notes
Safety rests on the mattress height: the top setting eases reaching a newborn, and the lower steps keep the rails high once the child can pull up. The pine frame and compact size set how much room it takes.
