Overview
GPX offers this boombox as a top-loading CD player with built-in stereo speakers. A telescoping FM antenna and a built-in AM antenna handle radio, and the AUX jack accepts another audio device.
The reason to buy is a simple all-in-one source for CDs, radio and a phone with an AUX cable.
Who it's for
A small room, garage or dorm where CDs and radio are still used suits it. Skip it if you stream from a phone wirelessly, or if you want a speaker that fills a large room.
Pros and cons
- Plays CDs and radio
- AUX input for phones
- Runs on AC or batteries
- Telescoping FM antenna
- Batteries sold separately
- No Bluetooth listed
- Output power not listed
Performance notes
The CD mechanism reads discs from the top, and the speakers cover stereo mids and highs, with bass limited by the compact cabinet. Radio reception depends on the antenna position. The AUX jack plays any device with a matching output cable.
