Overview
Otis Technology puts a caliber-matched MSR cleaning kit into one package, aimed at modern sporting rifles. The title says to select a style, so check which version you receive.
Rifle owners get a caliber-matched kit from a maker known for cleaning gear, with a no-nonsense warranty. Rods, brushes and patches are not itemized, which makes it hard to know what is in the box.
Who it's for
Owners who want one kit for routine cleaning on a matching rifle will use it as intended. Shooters of other calibers should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Compact kit weight
- Established cleaning brand
- Contents not itemized
- Style options not detailed
- Liquid type not described
Performance notes
Cleaning a barrel works by pulling a brush and patch through the bore in the direction of the muzzle, so the kit's rod and brush must match the caliber. Cleaning solvent loosens fouling before the patches lift it out.
