Overview
A rinse free foam shampoo covering a range of small animals, listed for ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, puppies and kittens. Comes in an 8 fl oz bottle made with fermented vegetable extract and needs no water rinse.
The category label says cat shampoo, but the target species data spans a much wider range of small animals, so this is better described as a general small animal grooming product rather than a cat only formula. Being rinse free and free of dye, mineral oil and artificial color positions it for animals that are sensitive to bathing or handling stress.
- 8 fl oz, foam form
- Rinse free
- For ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, puppies, kittens
- Dye free, mineral oil free, artificial color free
Who it's for
Owners of small animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and ferrets, as well as puppies and kittens, wanting a quick deodorizing clean without a full water bath. Less relevant for owners specifically wanting a full wash shampoo for adult cats or dogs.
Pros and cons
- No rinse needed, works as a foam
- Covers a wide range of small animals plus puppies and kittens
- Free of dye, mineral oil and artificial color
- Foam clean is lighter than a full lather and rinse wash
- Category label lists it as cat shampoo though it covers many species
Performance notes
As a foam that needs no water rinse, it works by lifting odor and light debris rather than delivering the deeper clean of a lathered, rinsed shampoo, which suits animals where handling and bathing stress is a concern. The fermented vegetable extract base and the absence of dye, mineral oil and artificial color point to a formula built for sensitive skin across multiple species.
