Primo 601089 Water Dispenser

Overview

The Primo 601089 is a freestanding, corded electric water dispenser in stainless steel, standing nearly 41 inches tall with a compact 0.39-gallon internal reservoir. That reservoir size points to a bottle-fed design rather than a tank holding a full bottle's volume.

At 17 lb and freestanding, this dispenser sits on the floor rather than a counter, with electric operation suggesting hot and cold dispensing rather than gravity-fed only. No bottle capacity is given directly in the listed specs, so confirm whether it takes standard 3 or 5 gallon jugs before buying.

• Freestanding install
• Corded electric
• Stainless steel, black finish
• 40.9 in tall

Who it's for

Works for households already buying bottled water who want a standing electric dispenser rather than a countertop unit. Not for anyone wanting an under-sink or plumbed-in system.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Freestanding electric dispensers like this heat and chill through an internal reservoir rather than filtering the water itself, so output quality depends on the bottled water supplied to it. The corded electric design points to active heating and cooling rather than passive gravity dispensing.
