Overview
This Berkley soft lure pack (model PBBPW7-PS) includes 13 plastic baits at 7 inches each in a pumpkinseed color pattern, a common shade for bass fishing plastics. Total listed piece weight is about 0.02 kilograms.
Pumpkinseed is a widely used soft-plastic color for imitating crawfish and baitfish in stained or clear freshwater, and the 7-inch size puts these in the range typically used for flipping, Texas-rigging, or swimbait-style presentations on bass. The listing's target species field reads oddly, showing 'Pumpkin' rather than a fish species, which appears to be a data mismatch tied to the color name rather than an actual target species.
- Pack size: 13 count
- Lure length: 7 inches
- Color: pumpkinseed
- Material: plastic
Who it's for
Bass anglers who want a bulk pack of 7-inch soft plastics in a natural, widely productive color. Less relevant to anglers targeting species that respond better to hard lures or live bait.
Pros and cons
- 13 lures per pack
- Pumpkinseed is a versatile, natural bait color
- 7-inch size fits common bass rigging styles
- Listing's target species field appears mislabeled
- No hook or rigging hardware included
Performance notes
Pumpkinseed's brown-orange tone mimics crawfish and other natural forage, which tends to work across a range of water clarity. At 7 inches, these lures suit rigging styles like Texas rigs or swimbait hooks aimed at bass rather than finesse presentations for smaller panfish.
