DeLong Lures KILR Worm Swimbait 6 in 5-Pack

Overview

A 5-piece pack of 6 inch soft plastic lures from DeLong, made from a plastic and rubber blend and built for a safety pin style hook setup, the wire frame commonly used on spinnerbaits. The listing targets bass and northern pike.

At 6 inches these are sized for larger predatory fish rather than panfish, and the safety pin hook reference points to a spinnerbait or inline spinner rig rather than a jighead setup. The multicolor finish and 5-piece count give an angler several lures to work through before restocking, useful since soft plastics tear or get lost to strikes and snags.

• 5 pieces per pack
• 6 inch soft plastic lures
• Targets bass and northern pike
• Safety pin hook technique

Who it's for

Bass and pike anglers looking for a 6 inch soft plastic sized for larger fish, particularly those already fishing safety pin style rigs such as spinnerbaits. Less relevant for anglers targeting panfish or needing a jighead-compatible soft plastic.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

The plastic and rubber blend flexes and undulates as it moves through water, which is what triggers a reaction strike from bass and pike keying on baitfish movement, and the safety pin hook style keeps the point exposed for a solid hookset.
