Overview
A pull chain switch sets the motor speed on the Hunter Builder Plus, with no remote or wall control listed. The fan is hardwired and hangs from a downrod, pairing a bronze metal housing and plastic blades with an LED light in a traditional style.
Strong rated airflow from a wide blade span moves air across a bedroom or living room, and a lifetime limited warranty backs the fan. Control stops at pull chains, and the plastic blades and traditional look will not suit every room.
Who it's for
Homeowners replacing a dated fixture in a bedroom get a light and airflow in one hardwired unit. Shoppers wanting smart control or outdoor use should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- High listed airflow
- Built in LED light
- Bulbs included per title
- Three pull chain speeds
- Pull chain only, no remote listed
- Indoor use only
- Downrod length not listed
- Plastic blades, not wood
Performance notes
Airflow depends on blade span, blade pitch and motor speed; the listing gives span and rated airflow but not pitch. Mounting height matters too: a downrod lowers the blades into the room, which helps air reach people below on a high ceiling but can crowd a low one.
