Overview
A floating piston splits the Gas-a-Just design into two working chambers: a hydraulic area for control and a high-pressure nitrogen area for comfort. This KYB strut is sold as a front left replacement.
The OE number list is the guide to fit, since no make or model appears in the title. The lifetime warranty covers the original retail purchaser for as long as they own the vehicle, and it needs a dated receipt for any claim.
Who it's for
An owner or shop replacing a worn front left strut on a Toyota or Lexus can cross check the OE numbers. Anyone who cannot match those numbers should ask the seller for the vehicle list.
Pros and cons
- Gas strut with a nitrogen chamber
- Long OE cross reference list
- Lifetime limited warranty
- Vehicle specific fit
- Vehicle not named
- Sold as a single left strut
- Warranty needs original receipt
Performance notes
A hydraulic piston and valve handle compression and rebound, while the nitrogen chamber with its floating piston holds the ride comfortable in normal driving. The design is described as resisting fade from aeration. No damping figures are listed.
