Overview
BestFishingSecrets' 37878 pack includes 6 clear butyrate plastic bobbers sized about 1 1/8 by 1 3/4 inches. They suit anglers who want lightweight, low-visibility floats for panfish or light bass presentations.
Butyrate plastic is a step up in clarity from cheap styrene bobbers, and this pack gives six spares at once so losing one or two to snags does not end the trip. The size given points to a mid-size float suited to light jigs or small live bait rather than heavy bottom rigs.
- 6 bobbers per pack
- 1 1/8 x 1 3/4 inch size
- Clear butyrate plastic
- 0.3 oz weight
Who it's for
Works for panfish, crappie and light bass anglers who want a clear float that stays visible from a distance. Not the choice for deep bottom rigs or heavy bait that needs a larger float to stay afloat.
Pros and cons
- Clear finish is low-visibility to fish
- Pack of 6 gives spares for snags
- Butyrate plastic holds up better than cheap styrene
- No stated line or hook pairing
- Fixed single size in this pack
- No depth-adjustment mechanism specified
Performance notes
The clear butyrate shell is less visible to fish underwater than opaque plastic while still standing out on the surface for the angler. At roughly 1 1/8 by 1 3/4 inches, the float carries light jigs or bait without excessive drag.
