Overview
A single Thill TWB60 bobber weighing 3/8oz, molded in plastic with an orange and chartreuse color scheme, marketed for salmon fishing.
The 3/8oz weight puts this bobber in a size meant to suspend heavier baits or rigs used for salmon, larger than the small floats used for panfish. The orange and chartreuse coloring is a common visibility choice for anglers watching a float across current or low light water.
- Plastic construction
- 3/8oz weight rating
- Orange and chartreuse color
- Sized for salmon float rigs
Who it's for
Salmon anglers running float rigs who need a float sized for heavier terminal tackle. Not sized for light panfish or trout floats.
Pros and cons
- 3/8oz capacity suits heavier salmon rigs
- Bright orange/chartreuse color stays visible in current
- Plastic build keeps the float lightweight to cast
- Single unit, not sold as a multipack
- Bright coloring is not ideal for spooky fish in clear, calm water
Performance notes
A 3/8oz weight rating means the float carries enough shot or a heavier rig without sinking, which matters when salmon float rigs use more weight to get bait down in current. The bright color combination is meant to stay visible against choppy or discolored water rather than to be subtle.
