Overview
A snorkeler slips into this neon yellow nylon vest, tightens the adjustable straps with hook and loop and blows into the oral inflator to adjust buoyancy. Two mesh pockets with Velcro closures hold small items.
Easy inflation, bright color and pockets for keys and sunscreen are the reasons to choose it for a beach or boat trip. The listing does not state a buoyancy figure or any rescue approval, so it is not a substitute for an approved life jacket.
Who it's for
Adult snorkelers, swimmers and paddleboarders who want a visible vest they can adjust by mouth will like the pockets and fit range. People who need a rated flotation device or a size outside the waist range should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- High visibility neon yellow
- Oral inflator for adjustable buoyancy
- Mesh pockets with Velcro closures
- Wide waist adjustment
- No buoyancy rating listed
- Not approved as a life jacket
- Child sizes not offered
Performance notes
Buoyancy depends on how much air the wearer blows in, so the vest can be trimmed for comfort. Adjustable straps and hook and loop closures set the fit across the waist range. Neon yellow improves visibility from a boat or shore.
