Overview
An aftermarket intake setup that swaps the factory airbox filter path for a Donaldson Powercore media. Fine particles collect on the surface of the media instead of working deep into it. The listing does not describe the tube, mounting or hardware.
Owners who want a washable-style intake without cotton gauze get a media that resists getting wet. The big gap is fitment: no vehicle, engine or hardware list appears, so the part number is your only guide.
Who it's for
Enthusiasts replacing an existing aftermarket Volant intake or confirming this part number for their engine. Anyone shopping by vehicle make and model alone has too little here to go on.
Pros and cons
- Dry media loads on the surface
- Water resistant filter media
- Resists wear better than cotton gauze
- Donaldson Powercore filtration
- Vehicle fitment not listed
- Included parts not listed
- No warranty details listed
Performance notes
Powercore media captures submicron particles on its surface rather than inside the depth of the filter, so airflow stays steadier as it loads. The media is water resistant, so a wet filter does not choke flow the way an oiled gauze element can. The listing gives no flow figure or power claim.
