Overview
A guitarist chasing the classic Blues Driver grit gets an all-discrete analog circuit with two modes. Standard mode captures the original Blues Driver tone, and Custom mode adds new body and sustain.
The reason to buy is the choice between the classic voice and a Custom mode with new body and sustain, built around all-discrete analog circuitry. The limit is the listing itself: power details are confusing and the knobs are not named.
Who it's for
A blues or rock guitarist who knows the Blues Driver sound and wants the refined Waza Craft version with two modes. Players who need a clear power setup or a clean low-gain boost should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Standard and Custom modes
- All-discrete analog circuit
- Smoky, gritty sound profile
- Painted blue enclosure
- Power details confusing in the listing
- Individual controls not itemized
- Only the pedal itself is included
Performance notes
All-discrete analog circuitry shapes the gritty drive, and the maker credits it with refined sound. Switching between Standard and Custom mode changes the voicing: classic tone in one, more body and sustain in the other.
