Overview
AFX produces this Highway Patrol model in the Mega G+ chassis style as an HO scale slot car. It is a black plastic police car that is self-propelled on a slot track.
Racers with an existing AFX layout get a new car for the track. The listing does not name a track, a controller or the chassis details, and its age field is not usable.
Who it's for
A hobbyist with an HO slot car layout can run it directly. A first-time buyer with no track should pick a complete set.
Pros and cons
- Collectible police car design
- HO scale for standard slot tracks
- Plastic body, light weight
- Mega G+ chassis style
- Track not included
- Controllers not included
- Age field is unreliable
- Only one car
Performance notes
A slot car follows the slot and draws power through the track, so performance depends on the track and controller it runs on. Weight and chassis style affect grip and speed around corners.
