Overview
A living room racetrack is where this Mario Kart Yoshi car runs, drawing power from the Carrera GO rails. A magnet under the chassis aids cornering, and double contact brushes keep the electrical link to the rails.
A new car adds variety to an existing Carrera GO set and brings the Mario Kart look. It is designed strictly for the analog GO system, so it is no use on other track types.
Who it's for
A child with a Carrera GO track set at home can slot this in directly. A first-time buyer needs a track set and controllers, and digital owners should check compatibility elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Fits all Carrera GO electric and battery sets
- Downforce magnet for cornering
- Replaceable contact brushes
- Officially licensed Yoshi design
- Analog GO system only
- No track or controller included
- Item dimensions look like package size
Performance notes
The car takes power from the rails through its brushes, so a clean track and fresh brushes matter most for smooth acceleration. The magnet pulls the chassis toward the track for stability in corners.
