Overview
A shop counter or office desk is where this Casio business calculator belongs, with a tilting kickstand and a large LCD showing twelve digits. Dedicated keys handle margin and tax so markup math needs no hand formulas.
Margin and tax keys do the markup arithmetic that a basic calculator leaves to you. Solar power is backed by a battery, so lighting rarely matters. The limitation is size: the case is wide, and the keys are built for business markup rather than science or finance functions.
Who it's for
Shop owners, bookkeepers and anyone marking up goods will use the margin keys daily. A large display helps in dim back offices. Buyers short on desk space, or those who need trigonometry or financial functions, should look at a different type.
Pros and cons
- Dedicated margin and tax keys
- Tax keys for quick tax figures
- Solar power with battery backup
- Large display is easy to read
- Wide case needs desk space
- No scientific or financial functions listed
Performance notes
A solar cell feeds the calculator in normal room light and a battery stands behind it, so the display works across lighting conditions. The margin keys let two known values produce the third without manual formulas. The kickstand angles the display toward the user.
