Overview
A diver pulling on these Scuba Pro fins snaps the marine-grade bungee strap over the heel and gets a wing-shaped blade that pivots while kicking. Pivot Control Technology holds the blade at a steady working angle.
The reason to buy is easy donning and a blade that adapts to kick strength, which helps tired legs. Monprene elastomer is made to survive hard use. The limitation is that this is the small pink version only, and boot size guidance is missing.
Who it's for
A traveler packing a mesh bag of fins for warm-water diving will like the bungee strap and the pivoting blade. Technical divers, users needing a stiffer fin or those with feet outside the small size should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Self-adjusting bungee strap
- Pivoting blade adapts to kick
- Mesh bag included
- Elastomer blade resists wear
- Foot size range not listed
- Small size only in this listing
- Open heel needs dive boots
- Fin length not listed
Performance notes
The articulated blade pivots at the foot pocket, so it adjusts to how hard the diver kicks and holds an efficient angle. A spring-type bungee strap pulls the heel in without buckles. Open heel fins need boots, which also protect the foot.
