Overview
A pool lane is where these short-blade Finis fins belong, with a pull-on foot pocket in soft natural rubber. The compact blade is made for fast kick work instead of long glides.
Swimmers who train kick tempo get a short blade that has the leg turning quickly. They are not diving fins, and the listing has no sizing guidance, so fit needs a second check.
Who it's for
Pool swimmers and youth squads working on kick tempo will use them as intended. Anyone buying for scuba, snorkeling or heavy open-water kicking should choose a long blade.
Pros and cons
- Short blade for quick kick tempo
- Pull-on, no straps to adjust
- Soft rubber foot pocket
- Size chart not listed
- Material listed as plastic and rubber
- Not for diving
Performance notes
A short blade moves less water per kick, so the leg turns faster and the load on ankles stays moderate. Rubber foot pockets cling when wet, which helps keep the fin from slipping off during hard sets.
