Overview
Berkley's Fusion19 EWG hooks in the FSN19EWG3/0 listing come in a 6 count pack at size 3/0 with a smoke satin finish, built as extra wide gap hooks for bass fishing with soft plastics.
An extra wide gap, or EWG, hook shape opens more room between the point and the shank than a standard worm hook, which helps the point clear thicker soft plastic bodies on the hookset. Size 3/0 sits in a common middle range for Texas rigged worms and creature baits aimed at bass.

- Size 3/0, 6 count pack
- Smoke satin finish
- Built for bass fishing with soft plastics
Who it's for
Bass anglers rigging soft plastics who want an extra wide gap hook to improve hookups through thicker bait bodies.
Pros and cons
- Extra wide gap shape improves hooksets through thick soft plastics
- Size 3/0 fits common Texas rig worm and creature bait sizes
- Smoke satin finish keeps a low glare profile
- Only 6 hooks per pack
- Single size and finish, no assortment
Performance notes
The wider gap on an EWG hook reduces the chance of the point burying into the bait itself on the hookset, which matters most with bulkier soft plastics. The smoke satin finish is a low glare coating rather than a bright, flashy one.
