Overview
Bedrooms, nurseries and home offices are the target for the Pure Enrichment MistAire, an ultrasonic cool mist humidifier. A vibrating disk turns water from the top tank into a fine mist that leaves through an adjustable nozzle, and the unit shuts itself off when the water runs low.
Quiet operation and an optional night light make it easy to run overnight beside a bed or crib. Filling is simple because the tank lifts off the top with nothing to take apart. The listing does not say how much mist each setting puts out.
Who it's for
Dry winter air in one small or medium room is the job here, especially overnight. Parents of a light sleeper get a dim glow and low noise. Owners of big open spaces need a larger unit.
Pros and cons
- Quiet enough for overnight use
- Top tank lifts off to fill
- Auto shut-off on low water
- Optional night light
- Mist output rate not listed
- Tank size given two different ways
- Cool mist only, no warm setting
- Single room coverage, not whole home
Performance notes
Ultrasonic vibration breaks water into fine droplets without boiling it, so the mist comes out cool. How quickly a room reaches a comfortable level depends on its size and the speed chosen. The auto shut-off cuts power once the tank is empty or lifted away.
