Overview
On a shelf in a man cave or office, this mini helmet shows off the Speed shell in powder blue with official decals. It has interior padding and a four-point chinstrap, though it is a scale model rather than gear.
The reason to buy is a collectible with real details, official colors and room for autographs on the shell. The limitation is that the size is half scale, so it cannot be worn or used for play.
Who it's for
Fans decorating a den or collecting NCAA memorabilia will use the replica for display. Anyone wanting protection, a youth helmet or a full-size prop should choose a different item.
Pros and cons
- Official team colors and decals
- Polycarbonate shell with interior padding
- Chinstrap detail adds realism
- Suits autograph signing
- Display piece only
- Half scale size
- Stand not mentioned
- League licensing details not listed
Performance notes
This is a decorative piece, so what matters is finish and detail rather than impact performance. A polycarbonate shell holds its shape and takes a marker for signatures. Foam inside and a chinstrap add realism to the display.
