Overview
Not a wearable helmet, this Riddell Notre Dame Shamrock is a half scale replica with a molded ABS shell, a plastic face mask and a vinyl-leather chin strap. Foam padding lines the inside for a realistic look, and an official team decal marks the shell.
A mini helmet like this suits collectors and autograph hunters who want official team graphics in a small display size. The limitation is plain: it has no protective purpose, so nobody should put it on for play.
Who it's for
A Notre Dame fan with shelf space, or a collector gathering signatures on memorabilia, will get what the listing describes. Players and anyone after a full size replica should look at a different kind of helmet.
Pros and cons
- Official Notre Dame team decal
- ABS shell with plastic face mask
- Foam interior padding detail
- Vinyl-leather chin strap fitted
- Not for wearing
- Half scale only
- Weight not listed
Performance notes
As a collectible, the result depends on finish: the hard ABS shell carries the graphics and decal, while the foam padding and chin strap add scale realism. The shell is a display shape rather than a protective one, so its job is shelf display and signing.
