Overview
Not a box of ordinary crayons, Crayola Twistables sit inside clear plastic barrels that twist up to expose more color. The barrel lets kids see the shade inside and shields it from snapping.
No sharpening and fewer broken crayons are the reasons to buy for home and classroom. The pack holds a small range of colors.
Who it's for
Kids drawing at home or school who would otherwise snap crayons fit here. Those wanting dozens of colors should look at a bigger box.
Pros and cons
- No sharpening needed
- Breakage resistant barrels
- See-through color view
- Works at home or school
- Small color range
- Age guidance varies in listing
Performance notes
Twisting the barrel pushes fresh crayon up as the tip wears, so there is nothing to sharpen. The plastic barrel supports the crayon and protects it against breakage.
