Overview
Swapping out an old cartridge is the job of this three-pack, built around an activated coconut carbon block. The listing names chlorine, bad taste, odor, cysts, rust and corrosion as targets.
The reason to consider it is the multi-pack supply for a listed fridge. The limit is the NSF scope, which covers aesthetic impurities only, and a model list that is cut off.
Who it's for
People who change the fridge filter on a schedule and want a stocked supply for a named model. Anyone who needs lead reduction certification, or whose model is not listed, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Three filters in one order
- Part numbers listed
- Install stickers included
- Warranty and return policy
- Aesthetic certification only
- Model list cut off
- Fit must be checked
Performance notes
A carbon block improves taste and odor by adsorbing chlorine and organic compounds as water flows through. The NSF listing covers those aesthetic effects, not health contaminants. Replacement timing is not stated.
