ASIN: B071KTC7G5Model: RWF3500A+AF004Category: Household Water Filters
Overview
Coconut-shell activated carbon is packed into a cartridge made for the water line of a compatible LG fridge, filtering water on its way to the dispenser. The set is three cartridges and no appliance.
Buying three cartridges in one order covers several change-outs for an LG owner. The listing is heavy on compatibility and light on performance data, with no gallon rating or reduction claims beyond the certification.
Who it's for
A household with a listed LG refrigerator and a long run of filter changes ahead is the match. A buyer who cannot find their model in the lists, or who needs a pitcher cartridge, should not order.
Pros and cons
- Three cartridges in one set
- Coconut activated carbon media
- Lead-free material listed
- ANSI certification listed
- Fits listed LG models only
- No gallon rating given
- No contaminant list given
Performance notes
Coconut carbon traps chlorine and taste compounds as water passes through the block, and a tight fit in the housing stops water bypassing the media. A cartridge that does not seat fully will leak or run unfiltered, so match the code before fitting.
