Overview
A family that dries a few loads a week gets a straightforward GE electric dryer with a roomy drum, simple cycles and a choice of heat levels. The door swings either way, and the lint filter pulls out from the front.
Simple controls, a reversible door and front service access make it easy to fit and live with. It has no steam or smart features, and the listing gives two different sets of dimensions.
Who it's for
Families and renters who want a no-frills electric dryer that matches most laundry spaces. Homes plumbed for gas need a gas model, and anyone wanting steam refresh cycles will not find them listed.
Pros and cons
- Roomy drum for family loads
- Several heat settings
- Door reverses for tight spaces
- Lint filter at the front
- Dimensions conflict across listing
- Power cord and vent kit not listed
- No moisture sensor described
Performance notes
Dry times depend on airflow through the vent, so a long or crushed duct slows every load. The description mentions monitoring air temperature to set dry times, which works most reliably when loads are similar in size.
