Overview
A laundry room with a gas hookup is where this Samsung dryer belongs, a front load unit with a large drum and Sensor Dry that adjusts time and heat to the load.
Families get a big drum, a good spread of cycles and temperatures, and a door that swings either way to suit the room. Gas supply is required, and steam or smart features are not listed.
Who it's for
Busy family laundry rooms with gas service suit the large drum and preset cycles. Homes set up only for electric dryers need an electric model.
Pros and cons
- Large drum means fewer loads
- Sensor Dry prevents over-drying
- Ten preset cycles
- Five temperature levels
- Needs a gas supply
- Short one-year warranty
- Venting details not listed
Performance notes
Drying time follows the Sensor Dry system, which optimizes cycle time and temperature to the load so clothes are not overdried. The large drum takes bigger loads in one run.
