Overview
Replacing a Samsung refrigerator's built-in water filter, these cartridges use an activated coconut carbon block in a food-grade housing. The pack comes with month stickers for tracking installs and a user manual.
A multi-pack for many listed Samsung models is the reason to consider it, along with certification and a stated list of reduced substances. The limitation is missing service-life information, since no month or gallon rating is given.
Who it's for
Owners of the listed Samsung side-by-side and French door models who change filters regularly will use the pack. Anyone with another brand, or with a Samsung model absent from the list, should not order without checking.
Pros and cons
- Three filters in one pack
- Certification to several NSF standards
- Long Samsung model compatibility list
- Month install stickers included
- Filter life not listed
- Only Samsung models listed
- Flow rate not given
Performance notes
Water passes through the carbon block, which traps particles and adsorbs listed contaminants as it flows, so results depend on changing the cartridge on schedule. The listing states certification to several standards, but no service interval, so follow the refrigerator's own reminder.
