Overview
Coconut shell carbon trapping chlorine and odor is the core of these LG-style replacement cartridges, wrapped in polypropylene. They are sold as a two-pack and match a long list of LG refrigerator models.
Stocking spare cartridges for a listed LG model is the reason to consider it, with better-tasting, fresher-smelling water as the stated aim. The limitation is missing service-life data, and the title mentions an air filter that the specs never describe.
Who it's for
Owners of the named LG models who change their water filter on a schedule can use the two-pack. Owners of other brands or unlisted LG models should confirm the filter number before ordering.
Pros and cons
- Two filters per pack
- Long LG model list
- Coconut shell carbon media
- Targets chlorine, odor and taste
- Filter life not given
- Air filter mention is unclear
- Flow rate not listed
Performance notes
Water passes through the carbon, which adsorbs chlorine and the compounds that cause odor and taste, so results depend on changing the cartridge on schedule. The listing sets no service interval, so follow the refrigerator's own change reminder.
